La Chevrerie Resort & Spa (Anilao, Batangas)

Anilao, Batangas is just about a 2-3-hour car ride from Manila, and home to a cool luxury resort named La Chevrerie Resort & Spa.

“La Chevrerie” means “the goat’s place” in French. And, yup, you guessed it; there are goats in the resort!

It was established by a French diver who wanted to have a place in Batangas where he can enjoy nature and let his pet goats roam freely. He eventually opened up the place to share this sanctuary with the world.

Anilao may not have a long stretch of fine white sand beach, but La Chevrerie is a piece of paradise for weekenders.

The resort is a fusion of recreation and relaxation. What’s awesome about the place is that it’s luxurious with some rustic touches and quirky knick knacks here and there. These make La Chevrerie not just unique, but also cozy and definitely IG-worthy!

But the highlight of the place is, of course, the beach. So, most of the activities the resort has to offer gives you the opportunity to enjoy the waters of Anilao.

Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities in Anilao because the waters are teeming with beautiful marine life. And after soaking up in the ocean, in-house chefs from La Chevrerie’s restaurant can prepare you an awesome seafood BBQ on the island.
