You guys know we’re French. And the French, of course, love wine. Given our love for wine and our numerous explorations around the Metro, we understand the difficulty in looking for a quality wine spot in Manila. But don’t worry, we got your back! Unwind with wine by yourself or with your loved ones, and raise your glass with a surely delectable drink or “alak” as we round off our best wine places in Manila, curated especially for you! Thank us later once you take a sip from your glass and feel like a connoisseur after choosing one of our favorite spots from the list below.
Dr. Wine
Starting off our list is a French bistro that is sure to pack a punch with both their wine and food. Dr. Wine offers a selection of wines from glasses to bottles if you’re bringing your crew with you. With a wide variety of French and Spanish wines to choose from, you definitely can’t go wrong with choosing this laid-back bistro. Not to worry, though, Dr. Wine offers a series of quality wines from all over the world that we can assure will fit your tastes, one way or another. Take your wine experience to the next level with Dr. Wine and try out their famous “The Doctor’s Platter.” Again, thank us later.
This elegant yet cozy wine bar has branches that you may find in BGC and at the heart of Poblacion, Makati. Their Makati branch, however, has an amazing Rooftop bar that you and your friends may want to try out as well! Whatever your choice, your night out with Dr. Wine is sure to be worth it as one of the best wine places in Manila.

Galileo Enoteca
Get a uniquely authentic feel as you experience a piece of Italy in Galileo Enoteca! Our second recommendation is a classy and rustic Italian wine bar that brings out a more intimate experience for you to enjoy. Located in Mandaluyong, Galileo Enoteca offers an extensive library of Italian wines from White, Red, Rosé, and Sparkling to cater to your needs. Your temporary transportation to Italy won’t be complete if you don’t try out their pasta and pizza! Don’t let you and your tummy regret it – we highly recommend their Pasta Frutti Di Mare. After all, it’s one of their best sellers for a reason.
Galileo Enoteca is a quaint hole-in-the-wall deli that is perfect for a chill and quiet hangout with your companions or for a romantic night out with your significant other. Your plans may vary, but Galileo Enoteca is sure to deliver a special experience.

Txanton
Sip and dine at Txanton, a jamonería that serves luxurious wine, meat, and jamon that is both of elegance and taste. Txanton is a tapas bar that offers Spanish, French, and other wines that are nothing but the finest for your palate. Fear not; they also offer special wines outside Europe for you to try out as well. Classy and distinct, this Spanish shop and bistro provide a different experience as the place is split into three different sections: La Tienda, La Sala de Cata, and La Gran Añada. La Tienda or The Shop makes up the majority of the place. The last two parts of the restaurant are the private rooms you can reserve for a private and intimate wine-tasting and dining experience for you and your loved ones.
If you ever feel like finally trying out or satiating your Jamon needs with your favorite wine, Txanton is definitely the place for you.

Vitto’s Wine Bar and Restaurant
This spot in our list of best wine places in Manila is more than what you think. Vitto’s is a minimalist wine bar and restaurant that will definitely satisfy your wine fix as they offer unlimited wine and sangria that is available all day! With an offer like that, Vitto’s Wine Bar and Restaurant is too good of a place for you to miss out on. This no-frills wine spot in Tomas Morato serves both white and red wine that they acquired from different parts of the world for you to try out! For us, Vitto’s is a great place for you and your friends to celebrate a casual yet special day with your loved ones.
If you feel like going for a different vibe, however, Vitto’s offers a speakeasy bar that is within their walls called Prima Facie. Prima Facie shares a menu along with Vitto’s but provides a more intimate ambiance with its dimly-lit setup and cozier atmosphere.

Somm’s Table
Our final recommendation is another speakeasy tucked in the streets of Legazpi Village as we share Somm’s Table, a newly-opened restaurant and wine bar with a comfortable and eccentric ambiance that feels nothing but snug. Somm’s Table curates a fine series of French wines and other delectables with a twist as their chefs and staff throw in a detour for you and your taste buds to keep you on your toes. Don’t worry, though, it’s nothing short of amazing in terms of flavor. To keep you assured, the restaurant’s owner personally curates their wines as well!
Somm’s Table does not fall on the orange as their wine bar is filled with the said color all over. With a small Dragon Ball painting adorned on one of their walls, Somm’s Table is sure to give you and your loved ones an interesting encounter with a French fusion restaurant and wine bar.
