In Boracay, each station has its own charm and personality to cater different kinds of guests.
But there is a lesser-known and ultra-exclusive station that’s secluded from everyone else, and offers a luxurious experience like no other — Station Zero.
The first time we went to Boracay, we’ve always looked at it as the perfect destination.
The nightlife and festivities at Station 2 were so fun, while Station 3 offered a serenity that let us relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the beauty of the beach.
Little did we know that what Station Zero has to offer is even more jaw-dropping!
We instantly fell in love with the beach the moment we laid eyes on it, and we were certain that we’d spend most of the day there!
The weather was sunny, so the waters were crystal clear and sparkling as the rays of the sun were gleaming.
The white sand at Station Zero was so soft and creamy, it’s like stepping on a carpet.
And even if the tropical sun was beating down, the sand wasn’t hot at all.
But to match this picturesque view of the beach was an equally beautiful hotel, the Crimson Resort & Spa.
Location
Boracay is a dream destination for anyone.
The party goers find Boracay’s nightlife as a perfect place to socialize and meet new people, while the numerous water sports and island activities definitely excite thrill-seekers looking for a different experience.
OK, it’s covid-19 time so this is less true…
But we can agree on one thing: Boracay is everyone’s home away from home.
It is the slice or paradise we need to get a break from the humdrum of everyday life.
At Station Zero, the Crimson Resort & Spa offers a luxurious experience with just the right mix of fun and solitude.
Accommodation
Crimson Boracay boasts a total of 192 rooms and villas: one Presidential Villa, 22 Villas with private pools, 72 Suites, and 97 Deluxe Rooms.
No matter which room or villa you’ll stay in, you’ll definitely have your own patch of paradise during your stay.
Having an area of 35 sqm and a king bed or double-double beds, the Deluxe Rooms are great for couples.
Or you and your travel buddy, or it can be a small family. Deluxe Rooms can have a garden view or a sea view.
The 55 sqm Suite can either have a king bed or a double-double bed, and can accommodate two adults and two children at most.
Suites could either have a relaxing view of the hotel’s lush garden, or an unobstructed view of Boracay’s pristine ocean.
The Suite with Plunge Pool is perfect for those who’d like to soak up in the water with a little bit of privacy.
Sometimes, a meaningful getaway at Boracay also means having as much alone-time and solitude as possible.
And that’s what the Villa with Plunge Pool is for.
The extra privacy and seclusion that it offers is perfect for honeymooners.
Or even small, close knit families of four who just want to have an intimate vacation together.
The Presidential Villa is the most lavish accommodation at Crimson Boracay.
It’s a 210 sqm villa that has a glorious and panoramic view of Station Zero’s ocean, and even has its own private pool.
Those staying at the Villas are entitled to special welcome amenities such as a signature Aum hand massage* in the privacy of your own villa upon arrival.
*Please note that we went there before covid so what was available at that time could be different now.
Food & Drink
There aren’t as many other restaurants or dining options nearby as Station 1, 2 and 3 have, since Crimson Boracay is in an ultra-exclusive station.
However, food won’t be a problem here because the resort has three of their own dining facilities that serve an extensive selection of flavorful dishes.
We were welcomed by the enticing scent of aromatic herbs and the vibrant colors of different spices when we entered Saffron Cafe, Crimson Boracay’s all-day dining outlet.
Just from the smell and colors, we can tell that the chefs only used the freshest and finest ingredients in everything they serve.
And I can tell well! I used to work for a famous Singaporean food company working with hotels.
Before I quit my job and become an entrepreneur… The rest is history.
They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a sprawling buffet setup (that will definitely get you drooling!).
As well as an a la carte menu of international dishes from Asia and the West.
There were several stations all over the restaurant.
Where chefs prepared and cooked different dishes. As well a cake counter, bread display, and beverage bars.
Gastronomic Experience for Foodies
We’ve tasted a lot of adobo (one of the food specialties in the Philippines).
And in the several years of living in the Philippines, Saffron Cafe’s adobo with pineapples is one of the best!
It was an amazing gastronomic experience.
We also got the chance to try the food at Mosaic Latin American Grill, which only serves dinner.
Their menu had steaks, oysters, and ceviches, which were perfectly matched with an extensive list of fine wines and cocktails.
Their Bolzico Ribeye is probably the most divine steaks we’ve ever had!
Mosaic has a stunning overlooking view of the sea.
And if you’re staying in one of Crimson Boracay’s villas, you get to enjoy their exclusive Villa Guest Cocktail Hour from 4-6PM while watching the sun go down.
The Azure Beach Club is Crimson Boracay’s fun, laidback restaurant that boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Their specialty was fresh seafood and authentic Asian cuisine like Japanese, Korean, and Indian — their chicken tandori is a must-try!
Azure Beach club had an indoor dining space, as well as an alfresco dining space that’s just nearby the swimming pool and beach.
Here’s a pro tip for you: Head to the beach or pool, take as many pictures flaunting your beach bod, then once you’ve got shots for the gram, have a hearty meal at the Azure Beach Club.
The food is so good, you’ll leave with tummies full and diets forgotten.
Facilities & Service
Since guests of Crimson Boracay can only enter Station Zero, the hotel accommodations include roundtrip land and speedboat transfers to/from Caticlan.
Those arriving via Kalibo can also avail of the land transfer services by adding a minimal fee.
This made our trip much more comfortable and hassle-free.
Upon stepping foot in the hotel’s vicinity, the musicians were playing traditional beats and samba-like music (which we had fun dancing too, by the way!), while the hotel staff handed us cold towels, welcome drinks, and bracelets.
The best part is being greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival.
Their smiles were warm and welcoming, and their staff were always ready to assist us.
While Station Zero may not be as action-packed as Station 2, the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services to and from Station 2 for those who’d also like to try other activities there.
For the pools, the infinity pool at the upper deck was more quiet.
It had a wonderful view of the resort and beach.
While the second infinity pool as well as the kiddie pool are found at the beachfront.
Aum Spa will show you what rest and relaxation really is.
Having one of their authentic and unique therapies is the best way to treat yourself and rejuvenate your mind and body for an indulgent vacation.
The spa has seven treatment rooms that include a body scrub room, and areas for foot treatments.
You can even have your treatment done by the beach, or at the comfort of your own room.
Fitness and other Activities
For some people, the hustle doesn’t stop even on vacation.
So if you’d like to tone up your beach bod at the last minute, Crimson Boracay has a well-equipped Fitness Center.
That has free weights, resistance machines, and cardio machines.
The resort also arranges scheduled group activities and exercises for the guests.
Just head on over to the Fitness Center and jump right in and have fun!
While the adults indulge in their own activities, the kids also have their own adult-free retreat — the Crimzone.
The entire space was designed for kids, and had fun activities such outdoor billiards, giant chess, giant jenga, arcade games, and more.
If you’re one of those who get relaxed by doing leisure activities.
Crimson Boracay’s secluded beach is an extension for various outdoor activities.
Such as beach soccer, beach volleyball, beach tennis, yoga by the beach, paddle boarding, and kayaking.
We wanted to do something laid back,.
So we tried paddle boarding to just take in and appreciate the sight of the beach.
What really amazed us was how clear the waters were. That we saw every fish that was swimming below the board!
It wasn’t our first time to do paddle boarding. So, it was just like taking a scenic stroll, but there are life jackets available and an instructor for first timers.
Our Special Word
The very first time I went to Crimson Boracay was for my company outing. As soon as we check-in, I was so impressed by the level of service in the hotel.
Everything is made to create a welcoming atmosphere and give you a perfect stay.
The swimming pool, the rooms, and all the accommodations are stunning.
Being a foodie, Crimson Boracay was the perfect spot for me. Happy hour on the cocktails starts at 10 AM until late at night.
The breakfast buffet had so many choices, and the different restaurant outlets can fill all your craving.
I still remember our boodle fight night prepared by the culinary team of the hotel.
It’s still one of my best memories in Boracay!
Testimonials from friends 🙂
From Ben Arnold
My friend & I stayed in Crimson Boracay, in November, 2020.
This was just over 6 months into the pandemic, so the hotel staff were very safe and followed all safety protocols, without loosing any attention to their 5-star service standards.
The private beach is absolutely stunning, which is cut off from anyone outside of the hotel, so you feel even safer and more relaxed. You can experience the full restaurant menu in your room, by the pool and even on their private beach.
The location is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Boracay, allowing a more relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend Crimson Boracay to anyone living in the Philippines that needs a well deserved break.
From Franco Saycon
Well it was my first time staying there and I honestly loved it.
What stood out for me was that they had a private beach so you felt safe and secluded.
Plus since it was a private beach front, the rules against setting up beach beds and consuming frozen cocktails along the beach didn’t apply to them.
